Useful new options — 15 September 2026

• Rewatch without disrupting tracking: on a completed film or an already watched episode, choose “Rewatch” to add a private viewing without restarting progress.
• Adapt Tonight: on the dashboard, choose whether the full queue appears in a rail, a drawer or stays hidden.
• Fine-tune spoilers: settings now distinguish what is hidden in notifications from what is hidden in the community feed.
• Share on your terms: after watching, download a card in the format you want; your username and personal details remain optional.
• Choose your language: the web interface is available in twelve languages, including Arabic with a right-to-left layout.

Options to know before starting

• When migrating, start with a file import and Merge without overwriting.
• Direct Trakt/Simkl connections are optional, separate from imports and limited to an invitation-only beta.
• Set language, region and time zone for airtimes and availability.
• Review spoiler settings and per-title privacy.
• Choose the appropriate export: complete JSON for backup, CSV for readability, Trakt or Letterboxd for compatibility.

Quick start

1. Create your account

Sign up, choose a display name and configure language, region and time zone. Your region is used to adapt availability information when possible.

2. Choose how to populate your library

• Starting from scratch: search the catalogue and add a title to your library or watchlist.
• Already have a history: open the Import/Export Centre and choose the source platform.

3. Check before importing

Run Check first. TV Chaud displays recognised items, detected files, automatic matches, ambiguous titles and missing results.
