New privacy and spoiler controls — 15 September 2026
- Genuinely private rewatches: each “Rewatch” session belongs only to its owner. It never appears on a profile, in the feed or in social notifications.
- Fine-grained masking: spoiler protection now separates notification titles and text from community-feed titles and summaries.
- Controlled sharing: image cards use the poster and come in square, story and landscape formats. Username, rating, reaction and viewing platform are all optional.
- Privacy retained: sharing remains a user-chosen download or send action; nothing is automatically published.
- Official news: links to TV Chaud’s X and Bluesky accounts are available in the footer.
A simple rule: private by default
Creating an account does not publish your library, activity or lists. Every shared surface requires an explicit choice and can be disabled again.
Public profile
You may enable a public profile and then separately choose whether to show:
- your library, statuses and ratings;
- your twelve most recently watched episodes and their dates.
If the public profile is disabled, both remain hidden. List visibility remains independent from profile visibility.
Personal and shared lists
Each list can be:
- Private: visible only to its owner and authorised collaborators.
- Unlisted: available to anyone with the link, but not intended for indexing.
- Public: available through an indexable public page.
A shared list shows its title, the author's public identity and selected title metadata. It does not expose personal ratings or progress. Owners can reorder, duplicate or delete lists, renew sharing and manage revocable collaborators.
